1) How long does the custom-home
building process typically take with Ironstone Homes?
The
process varies based on the style and size of the home,
but most of our homes take about
six
to nine months from contract to completion.
2) What is the price range
of most of Ironstone’s Homes?
Most
of our custom homes range from $300,000 to $850,000,
depending on the size, style, amenities, building materials
and floor plan.
3) What style or styles of
homes does Ironstone specialize in?
We
specialize in European Style homes including French
County, French Provincial, Victorian
Gothic
and others. We also build homes in the Craftsman “Farmhouse”
and more Traditional
styles.
Keep in mind that our homes are custom, meaning you
can mix styles to suit your needs
and
tastes. At Ironstone Homes, we want the home we build
for you to be perfect for you.

4) In what areas of North Carolina
do you build?
Ironstone’s
custom-built homes can be found primarily in Forsyth
and Davie Counties, but we will
also
build in Yadkin, Davidson and other surrounding counties
in North Carolina. This includes
Winston-Salem,
Clemmons, Lewisville and many other locations in the
Triad of NC. We have
also
built homes at High Rock Lake.
5) Do you build in specific
neighborhoods?
We
have built homes in the Brook Forest, Salem Glen, Bermuda
Run, Bermuda Run West, Oak
Valley,
Spicewood Trails, Fair Oaks and Arbor Run neighborhoods,
but we are open to building
virtually
anywhere you would like.
6) I am ready to build my dream
home. How do I get the building process started?

7) Do you have home plans or floor plans to
choose from? Do you work with architect? May I hire
my own architect?
We
do have home plans available, but your home should be
as unique are you are. That’s why
our
first step is always to sit down with you to better
understand your lifestyle and vision for your
new
home. Then our draftsman creates a custom home plan
that is tailored to you. We are also
happy
to work with your architect if you so desire.
8) I found home plans that I like, but want
to modify or customize them. Can you do that?
Of
course. We will need to look at the original plans and
discuss the modifications. If the changes
are
extreme, we may need to consider using different base
plans or having our draftsman create
custom
plans especially for your home.
9) What deposit is required to starting building
my home?
We
require a 10% deposit when building a home.
